Formal ceremony spaces indoors, open grounds for portraits once the nikkah concluded. Maliha and Hassan's wedding at Froyle Park followed a shape familiar from many Muslim weddings we film at country house venues, and the nikkah coverage stayed restrained and steady, clear audio and minimal camera movement prioritised so the reading of terms carried the full weight of the moment.

April light at Froyle Park worked well for portraits between the ceremony and the walima later on. The shift in tone between the two halves of the day is something we plan for carefully every time, quiet formality during the nikkah giving way to a fuller, more energetic celebration once the walima began. Shot selection for the reception opened up considerably, wider lenses, more movement, matching a room filling with guests, music, and the couple's own entrance. Family moments throughout the day, particularly around the couple's parents, got close attention in the coverage, since those tend to be the shots that carry the most weight looking back.
