Sunil and Katerina's day in London didn't fit neatly into a single tradition, and it wasn't built to. It followed what mattered most to them personally rather than a fixed ceremonial structure, which meant listening closely during the planning conversations beforehand rather than assuming based on a standard timeline. June gave the afternoon strong natural light for both the ceremony and the portraits after it.

We stayed flexible throughout, ready to adjust framing as the day's actual order of events unfolded rather than sticking to a plan made weeks earlier. That flexibility matters most in weddings that skip convention, because the moments that matter don't always arrive on schedule. The reception carried its own character, shaped entirely by the couple rather than borrowed from either family's usual format. Cutting the film afterward meant trusting instinct about what carried real weight, since there was no template to check it against.
