Baljeet & Sandeep

The same core structure wherever it's held: four Lavaan hymns circled around the Guru Granth Sahib. Baljeet and Sandeep's ceremony followed that familiar rhythm, and cameras stayed low and to the side throughout, presence kept minimal inside what is, first, a place of worship rather than an event space.

The morning's milni, the formal introduction between families, set an important tone before the ceremony even began, and we made sure to catch those first exchanges since they carry a quiet significance that's easy to miss in a busier schedule. Each Lavaan built steadily toward the final round, and the hymns themselves set the edit's pace rather than a faster rhythm imposed on top. August weather gave good, soft light for the later portraits. Langar followed the ceremony, its own kind of story, communal and unposed, genuinely different from the formality just before it. Reverence first, then the warmth of a shared meal, which is really the order the day gave us.
