Seven rounds around a sacred fire, each one carrying its own vow. Archi and Aditya's Hindu wedding centred on the saat phere at the heart of a Vivaah Sanskar, and cameras were positioned to capture both the ritual itself, the mandap, the fire, the pandit guiding each round, and the couple's own expressions as each phera completed. February weddings in London mean working entirely with interior light, so the setup was planned in advance around what the venue could offer rather than relying on daylight through the ceremony.

We held on individual moments rather than filming the whole ritual as one continuous wide shot, giving each of the seven rounds its own space in the finished film. Family involvement in a Hindu ceremony tends to run deep, parents guiding specific rituals, relatives close around the mandap, and the coverage kept that presence clearly in frame rather than at the edges. The reception afterward brought a noticeable shift in energy, wider shots, more movement, celebration taking over from ceremony.
