A fusion wedding asks a crew to work in two languages at once. Kuldeep and Andrew brought a Sikh ceremony together with Christian elements across a single day, and the goal was to give each its own honest treatment rather than blend them into something that served neither well. Where the day carried Sikh hymns and ceremonial rounds, we filmed with the stillness that calls for. Where Christian elements came in, vows, readings, a different rhythm entirely, pacing and camera movement adjusted to match.
Both families' backgrounds stayed fully present throughout rather than one becoming the main event and the other an addition, and the film tried to hold that same balance. London gave the couple a wide range of settings to work with, and the day used most of them, moving between spaces suited to each part of the ceremony. The contrast between the two traditions is the whole point of a wedding like this, and the finished film keeps both intact rather than smoothing either one down to fit the other.
