Winter weddings mean shorter daylight, and Dilpreet and Manveer's February Anand Karaj at Sri Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara made timing especially important. We arrived well ahead of the ceremony to plan the lighting setup around what daylight there was, making the most of the morning light through the gurdwara's windows before it faded.

The ceremony followed the familiar four Lavaan structure, and filming stayed deliberately restrained throughout, low camera positions, minimal movement, respect for a space used for worship far beyond this one wedding day. February cold didn't touch the warmth inside the hall, and the langar afterward brought that warmth fully into view, family and guests sharing a meal in a way that felt genuinely communal rather than staged for the occasion. We treated that portion as its own chapter, different in tone and pace from the ceremony's formality. Winter weddings get less attention generally, but there's a particular quality to the light and atmosphere this time of year that the edit tried to keep rather than work around.
