Bengali wedding rituals don't always get the attention they deserve in mainstream wedding coverage, so filming Anika and Khumar's day at Grand Sapphire meant giving each one proper room. The Gaye Holud, the turmeric ceremony held ahead of the main day, brought colour and texture into the room, turmeric paste, yellow saris, marigolds everywhere, and we treated it as its own chapter rather than a quick lead-in to the wedding itself.

The Bor Jatri, the groom's procession, carries real energy, music building as he approaches, and we positioned cameras to catch both the procession and the family waiting to receive him. Shubho Drishti, the couple's first ceremonial glimpse of each other, is quick and easy to miss if you're not watching for it specifically, so a camera stayed locked on that exact second rather than trying to catch it after the fact. Grand Sapphire's interior gave consistent light across a day that moved through several distinct rituals back to back, and the final cut let each one breathe on its own rather than compressing everything into a single highlight reel.
